KAN Five (5) is your Mayan Tzolkin birthday!
The basic interpretations (similar to an astrological reading) are as follows.
Feathered Serpent | Will | Soul
East | Rising Sun | Red | Blood
5 – Empower – Elevate – Action
KAN is synonymous with the direction of the East. In Mayan codices, East is placed at the top of the map. They did this because the direction of the rising sun was preeminent.

In a modern context, our bioelectric reality (consciousness), is governed largely by the Sun. The solar wind interacts with and generates the earth’s geomagnetic field through a process called induction. As a result, our bioelectric reality (i.e. our consciousness) is generated and regulated via a direct relationship with the Sun.
Spelled KAN in Quiche Maya, and Chicchan in Yucatec Maya, KAN is synonymous with the color red. It is also synonymous with the element of water–including the oceans, rivers, lakes, and the god Kukulkan, the Feathered Serpent.
Kukulkan, also spelled K’uk’ulkan is the name of a Mesoamerican serpent deity. Kukulkan is closely related to the deity Qʼuqʼumatz of the Kʼicheʼ people, and to Quetzalcoatl of Aztec mythology. Although heavily Mexicanised, Kukulkan has its origins among the Maya of the Classic Period, when he was known as Waxaklahun Ubah Kan, the War Serpent, and the Vision Serpent of Classic Maya art. The diety of Kukulkan & Quetzalcoatl was the first Mesoamerican deity to transcend the old Classic Period linguistic and ethnic divisions.

Sizeable temples dedicated to Kukulkan are found at archaeological sites throughout the north of the Yucatán Peninsula, such as Chichen Itza, Uxmal, and Mayapan, demonstrating its importance throughout the post-classic period, following the collapse of all the classic era Mayan city-states around the end of the 9th century.
Maya mythology describes the Feathered Serpent as the vehicle by which celestial bodies, such as the sun and stars, cross the heavens. The shedding of their skin made them a symbol of rebirth and renewal.
KAN is synonymous with sexual energy, vitality, justice, truth, and intelligence. KAN people are being called to be grateful for as well as instruments of truth and justice, the healing of illness, of the nervous system, to use their energy to dispel economic problems, oversee the integrity of the community, be a spiritual student, preserve the continuation of valuable traditions.
KAN is the energy of the knowledge transmuted into wisdom, into moral and mental strength. KAN is the serpent power, space energy, the wisdom of elders, and sexual magic. In a more modern context, the Mayan elders sometimes interpret KAN as the DNA, the spiral orbits of the planets, and of evolution played out within the spiral geometry of time.

The 5 is synonymous with the elevation (empowerment) of creation. In a more modern context, the 5th element is synonymous with the Ether, the medium through which the forces of the electromagnetic spectrum, gravity, weak and strong nuclear forces operate. 5 is also a helper to the number 8, doing the most important Male work, the action energy.
This is just more of the essence of the Mystics of the Maya.
